  1. Get Endicia/Dazzle account at Endicia.com .
    The premium option ($15.95/month) is sufficient to print all USPS label classes.
  2. Install Dazzle on your local Windows machine.
  3. Sign up for a trial account or purchase a full license of WorkingMan Software's Integrator for X-Cart and download the file to your computer. Integrator has two options: PHP4 or PHP5. If you don't know which version is right for you, start with the PHP4 version. When you run Integrator for the first time, it will tell you if you need the PHP5 version
  4. Unzip the Integrator software bundle.
  5. Move the "endicia" folder to the C:\ drive. It should be accessible as "c:\endicia".
  6. FTP the "wm_endicia2.php" file and the "wm_libs" directory to your webserver. These files should be placed in your X-cart "admin" directory.
  7. Go to your X-Cart admin page via your Web browser. For optimum speed and performance, the Mozilla FireFox browser is recommended (Internet Explorer works, but is much slower due to the way IE6 + IE7 handle javascript objects).
  8. Log into your admin page.
  9. We recommend that you make a backup of your store database using the admin interface. While no database bugs were encountered during beta testing, no guarantees can be made about your database integrity while installing our software.
  10. Go to the "wm_endicia2.php" file using your web browser. IE: https://yourstore.com/xcart/admin/wm_endicia2.php
  11. The Integrator software will now set itself up and inform you to visit the configuration pages.
  12. Once you visit all the configuration pages and save your default settings, you will be able to print postage. Please see the "printing postage" tutorial to see how the system works.
